DRIVE SHAFT VIBRATION

REPLACED REAR DRIVESHAFT WITH ANOTHER USED ONE IT SEEMED TO BE TIGHT BUT STILL HAS A VIBRATION ESPECIALLY IN THE GAS PEDAL   FEELS LIKE THE REAR DRIVE SHAFT, CHECKED EVERYTHING ELSE.  I KNOW THE U JOINTS CANT BE REPLACED SO THATS WHY WE REPLACED THE DRIVE SHAFT, COULD I BE MISSING SOMETHING

the vibration could be coming from the transfer case. im assuming your jeep is 4x4. a friend of mine had a similar issue with his wrangler. his jeep drive shaft vibrated too. but what broke was the yoke connecting to the driveshaft. yours may be wearing out as well.

I have a brand new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee - vibration noticed at about 40 Km per hour - the dealer found shaft was moving in an oblong form in the hanger bearing - corrction by replacement of rear drive shaft. My question is, is this a common problem? Ron, Canada

if you got a junk yard specal then you should have a shop check it out and fix the dline if you want to replace the dline and start new ballanced and all 6029970906
