What’s wrong with my car

My check engine light came on few days ago n
auto zone said O2 sensor.
But now My car shuts off when driving, I turn it
back on it starts up but it hesitates to drive. I
looked under the hood n it looks like there is oil on
the  alternator. What could it be?
