My alarm goes off when I unlock and start my car without Keyfob

I have the same problem on my 2012. Usually after an embarrassing 2 minutes or so it resets, then anyone can get in and steal it. So, the alarm is kinda useless to keep out thieves, although it makes me feel embarrassed while I am waiting for it to stop.
