I have the a 96 SHO that had a new key ignition when I bought it.It wouldnt crank at all.I started it by jumpin the silenoid and it runs as long as gas is externally put in the intake. The guy I got

the previous owner said it needed to be programed to turn on. i can hear the fuel
pump turn on but it doesnt seem to stay on and Im not getting alot of pressure at the
press relief exept at turn of key.the relay in the trunk is working anddoesnt seem to
be the prblem.does the key have a chip that keeps the fuel pump running or can it
be bypassed?

Your key is a chip key,it will have to be programed by a dealer to macth your ecm.
