What are the file size limitations for imported wallpaper on the 2012 CR-V / Civic ?

Connected Thumb Drive to USB Port - Check
Selected Customize Settings - Display settings - Check
Selected import wallpaper - check
Saw image names from flash drive - selected one - Check
Selected one - Check
File too large - UNCHECK!!!  
What is the file size limitation for imported wallpaper on 2012 CR-V?

Maximum image size is 1680 x 936 pixels on 2012 CRV

No, there are a bunch of undocumented limitations - the file size cannot be 2MB as specified, it is more like 200kB. The jpeg format appears that it cannot be "progressive", but plain. There might be other limitations, one has to experiment with various files
