what could cause white smoke comes up between the cab and bed?

This happens  after the truck has been  running  for a few minutes  of idle or
when driving.

No white smoke out of the exhaust? Maybe you have something leaking onto the exhaust. What does the smoke smell like? Water vapor or burning oil?

White smoke does come out of the exhaust but the smoke from under the cab smells like transmission fluid.
