2012 nissan versa reflash?

Asked by GuruKS6XH Dec 09, 2019 at 12:56 PM about the 2012 Nissan Versa

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I changed the 02 sensor since that's what my
scanner showed. Now they show as working
completely fine. I've driven it for almost a month
now and the monitor still isnt ready for my smog.
I've checked everything!! I even called nissan
dealer and they said as long as the check engine
light isnt on my computer shouldn't be replaced.
I've driven it stopped it driven it for 3 hours straight
in the freeway. Street driven etc. And still hasnt set.
Now the question is, how can I do a reflash on the
computer? Or any other suggestions? I'm going
crazy here. My check engine light isnt on
everything seams to be working perfectly fine.
Even on my scanner shows everything working
fine, just that dam monitor

If that is the only readiness monitor that is not set you will pass emissions inspection under Federal Law. If you have multiple readiness monitors not set you must drive with the gas gauge between three quarters and one quarter full. Otherwise the computer will not run the diagnostics to set the readiness monitors. This should only take a few days. Hope that helps! Jim
