2012 Liberty Windows & Side Mirrors

Asked by JDU Jan 30, 2015 at 11:58 AM about the 2012 Jeep Liberty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The electric windows and side mirrors stopped working on my 2012 Jeep Liberty (70,000 miles) at approximately the same time. I understand there's an interior fuse box and switch for both. I can't find either. I checked the left/right sides of the dash and nothing. Can you point me in the right direction or any suggestion to diagnose the problem? Thank you.

the fuse box in my truck is right by my clutch so it could be in that area?

It's under the hood on The driver side by the battery. I've got a problem with the mirrors only and the fuse is ok. I'm figuring the switch so I have to check it with a voltage meter. Or even possibly a body control module if one exists.

Just repaired the same issue. Tried the fuses but the problem was the harness had come loose from the control module. It should have some type of retainer on the harness to prevail over the jarring from closing the door.
