Lost my keys and was wondering what my options
are other than going through the dealership? I saw
some already cut keys that would need to be
reprogrammed for sale online and was wondering
if all 2012 VW Passat keys are cut the same??

You need a working key to program a new key ... A good locksmith or most likely a dealer is needed
