Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1998 Infiniti I 30 car. My
problem is that the thermostat to the
ac is broke/ wont respond to. I have it
on 65 but blows air thats one 80. I had
it stuck on ac before but my brother
changed it when it was winter to heater
now its hot as hell and it just blows out
heat. What do I do is something broke
or stuck? Or do i have to get a new ac?

Check and see if your getting power to compressor, if so then you might be low on freon or have a low or high side pressure sensor. If you don't have power to compressor then check the fuse/relay. Good Luck!
