F150 taillights

Asked by Bigbamboo Aug 14, 2019 at 07:53 AM about the 2011 Ford F-150

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I busted the tailight fixture on the drivers side
and it filled up with water and shorted out the
bulb. I replaced the whole assembly and the
running lights work but no turn signal, brake
lights or reverse lights on that side. Again,
when I turn on my lights they work fine but
won’t blink or light up when I turn on the turn
signal

I think your right about the further damage. The fixture was simple u just slide the old fixtures out of the damages one and slide them into the new one. I didn’t have to mess with any wires at all. But the fixture on the bottom was rusty from having water in the tailight assembly
