How do I get the car to keep idling?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced engine. Car starts, idles for few seconds
normal idle and then dies. What could cause this?
Volkswagen cannot fix it.

Insane that Volkswagen can’t fix it. You got a new engine for Christ-sake. Did you throw a shit fit at the dealer? Anyways, I’d try multiple sites. It seems to me nobody answers maintenance questions on this damn site.
