brakes

Asked by Signum_1330 Feb 24, 2017 at 04:37 PM about the 2011 Kia Soul

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i go to stop at 50-60 mph the brakes act like they are going to stop, but
then i start sliding and i feel something something under my feet bumping the
bottomside of the car. I havent experienced this going at a slower speed. It
stops just fine. do i need brakes or what? Had it for 3 years just started doing
this.

What kind of a question is that? Do you need brakes, of course you need brakes. And how are you sliding when you hit the brakes, are you in snow? I think you need some driving tips. But all that aside, it sounds like your making the ABS system kick in. This is normal.
