2011 Honda CR-V vibration

Asked by cbrugnani Jun 07, 2018 at 08:11 AM about the 2011 Honda CR-V

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Whenever I am idling at a stop sign or red light and my foot is on the brake it
vibrates. It gets worst when I put A.C. or fan on. I just had the injectors cleaned
and a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change. Vibration seemed better but next day back
again. I love my car but vibration is bothering me. No one can find the source of
the vibration. Not sure what to do next

I don't have any answer but we just test drove a 2011 CRV and we pulled back into the dealer and reported the same vibration as you noted in your post. We parked and turned the AC on and off and noted that it slightly improved when the AC was off. While driving we did not notice the vibration. Started googling and noticing a bunch of similar reports.

We just went through the same issues with our Honda crv 2011 awd,86k on the clock and manual. Between 2nd and 3rd gear with speeds ranging from 20 - 40kms. What we found was the rear diff mounts had broken away and on the hoist you could see the diff isolating in a circle motion.we replace these and 80 percent of the vibration has gone.It still does it between 2nd and 3rd but you dont loose your glasses driving now. Might help someone. We plan on replacing the diff oil next as i have replaced engine mounts and had wheels balanced.
