X5 (e70) Error Codes

Question type: General

I have just used my X5 battery to jump start my neighbours car, but now have
error codes on my dashboard relating to the airbag/restraint systems. How can
I fix this, please?

Simple cheap fix reset if ur lucky remove positive and negative battery cables and run a jumper wire to the unconnected terminals to discharge the ecm\ ecu \ contest Bart with volt meter if still 12 volts install terminals and start thus hopefully resetting ecu good luck

I don't think you should do that , better get another opinion , at any rate now you know that modern cars with all their electronics should not be giving jump starts , like many other things in todays world they can't handle adversity

Error code for airbag/restraint systems have now gone but a system fault for the DSC system has now appeared. Frustrating.

Attempted to clear clear the DSC fault with an OBD device. It kept returning until I cleared it and then drove the car a few 100 metres. Let's hope neither fault returns. Many thanks for your help. Happy motoring.
