Squeal and lurch

Asked by GuruCMHRC Mar 10, 2019 at 07:52 AM about the 2011 Subaru Outback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sporadic hesitation and squeak when driving
30 to 50 mph on straight away. Sometimes
not for 20 miles + and sometimes every 1/2
to mile

1 Answer

Since 2019 they have CVTs (constant Variable Transmisssions) which are problematic. Depending on the mileage of your car it may be replaced. I made the trip back north with no problem and will go to suburu dealer where car was bought.
