Hi, I am having trouble removing the battery from my BMW 2003 525d. The bridge and vent tube have been disconnected- when I lift the battery up, it seems to be secured to the bottom ? any ideas

There are usually small molded flares on the base of the battery casing itself. It could be simply getting hung up.

at the tail light end is a 10mm retainer and plate. remove that and slide the battery in that direction and then lift it out
