Tail lights out on one side

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The tail lights are completely out on the passenger side of the car. I checked the bulbs
and they're fine. The fuses are good too.

What could be the problem?

the earth line in the plug to the globe holder can frequently burn out, its possible to hard wire a replacement earth to rectify it
