Strange Whine...Fuel Pump?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have the 1985 325e and I am hearing a strange whine when the engine is running.  Could it be a fuel pump about to go?  It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side but I canno pinpoint it.  Any ideas would help...greatly.  

Also looking for any rememdies for clicking injectors.  I've used a cleaner but still haven't finished that tank of fuel.  Again, any ideas would help.  Thanks
