What to do if remote control of the car been soaked into water

Immediately take the battery out and put in a cup of rice, just like a cell phone. Leave over night or longer until you know it is dry.

Thank you so much Steve for taking time to answer my question..just panicked yesterday...I did that and helpful..though we were eager to see if its still working we blow dry the parts of the remote using hair drier...then we tried if it works ..and it did not..and then we buy new batteries and it works!
