I removed the battery on my 2010 bmw and closed the boot how can i open the boot to put in the new battery

Hi Tom this model do not have a keyhole near the top of the plate it is the 2010 320i model i even tried putting jumpers from the battery to the power junctions on the engine with jumper cables no go there is a switch inside the glovebox for the boot even that is not working any other help please
