On a 2010 F 150, are the dashboard lights suppose to be lit (on) when the head lights are off? I have a hard time seeing instruments due to no lights on dashboard lights during the day.

I take it you have a digital display on the dash. My 2010 doesn't. On the left side of my vehicle there is a small knob which can be turned from left to right to brighten the display. See if that helps.
