Question- will the manufacturer stand behind the cost to repairs? Is there a
safety recall on a locking Parker pedal? There SHOULD be!

http://www.nissanproblems.com/tsbs/Altima/2010/ Technical Service Bulletins BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER. BRAKE SYSTEM WILL BE INSPECTED TO CONFIRM THAT NO BRAKE FLUID LEAK IS PRESENT. RESEVOIR WILL BE TOPPED OFF IF NO LEAK IS PRESENT. IF THERE IS A LEAK IN THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IS IDENTIFIED THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER

I 100% agree that a 2010 Nissan should not have this problem. But The link above shows recalls. The second post is a Bulletin, not a recall

My 2006 nissan altima 2.5 automatic transmission will sometimes not go into drive. It will go into reverse, but you have to manually shift it into 1 then 2, 3 and then drive to get car to move. 10 Answers

only way to get car to drive when this happens is to shift manually from 1 through to drive. After that car runs fine for rest of day. Sometimes it shifts into gear hard.
