when I first start my 2003 Elentra, the clock works, but within 2-3 minutes it shuts off.

get a NEW battery...clean the connection from the main ground 1/0 cable to the chassis ground...undo the bolt where the ground lug attaches...wire brush the lug (by holding it with a pliers) and wirebrush the ground...bolt them together for restored ground to the chassis (clock included) windshield wipers, fuel pump, ignition and all else that requires solid ground~
