Air condoning issue

AC will work for the first trip of the day, whether
10 min or 40 min. When you turn vehicle off and
come back later AC will blow warm air with a
10 second puff of cool air every few minutes.
What gives?

First try cleaning condenser coil fins with a garden hose and nozzle if clogged with dirt and bugs will restrict air flow across coil. If still same problem most likely a bad A.C expansion valve.
