Shifter locks up in PARK

SHIFTER KNOB LOCKS UP IN                  PARK. hAVE A VERY HARD TIME
TRYING TO GET IT OUT OF park. hELP

Could be the brake light switch. I just replaced mine for the same reason. If the switch goes bad, the car doesn't know you are pressing on the brake and it won't let you shift out of park. The switch was 8 bucks on Amazon and it took 5 minutes and a wrench to fix it.
