Its in the fuel tank as is the fuel filter if yours has the in tank filter which started in 2005 if not its just a strainer but if your in there replace it along with the pump. The fuel filter on a 2005 Hyundai Accent depending on where it was manufactured and when, is possibly external and on the outside of the fuel tank directly above the fuel pump and accessible by removing the back seat. Or it is actually inside the fuel tank and requires removing the back seat, the metal panel, the fuel pump itself and then accessing the filter. Your vin. no. can determine which model you have and of course how much work you'll have to do.
