No start and "No Remote Detected"? HELP

150

Asked by Jeepisme65 Apr 25, 2016 at 12:28 PM about the 2010 Cadillac SRX

Question type: General

In the month of April of 2016, I have been without use of the vehicle, for a minimum of eight days, from a “No Remote Detected” response (as of April 25, 2016). The battery in the remotes were replaced and are transmitting, however, neither are detected in the car while trying to start the vehicle.  The auxiliary power initiates and that is it. Nothing!

Took the car to the dealership, once it decided to crank. I was informed that the problem was a mega- fuse. No more problems. Yet!

Had a similar situation with my fob not being recognized. However, lights, radio and AC all came on when I pushed Start button, but car would not start. I tried all the standard programming tricks and nothing worked, finally I disconnected the positive terminal of the battery and reconnected it and that worked!
