What does "Maint Reod" mean on the dash of my 2010 Toyota Camry?

I just bought this car.  It is used and I did not see any light last week when I drove it.

it should read maint reqd which means maintenance required, it could be as simple as they haven't reset the service interval light or could need an engine oil top up or something along those lines

I went to my mechanic. He said the "Maint Reod" really means "Maintenance Required." There is a check list of items that need to be checked at the 15,000 mi turn over. He printed out a list of items. (about 15).
