The Dx civics normally dont have power anything... in 92-95 came with the 1.5 non vtec motor but were much lighter. The 92-95 honda ex came with power everything and a 1.6 engine with vtec... +20 HP woopie.... The HX came out, it is the mix of both worlds... vtec motor but a dx transmition for fuel economy and hadly any ex options.... in 96+ they started to put the 1.6 vtec in everything... and Now honda has the same motor in almost all there civics.
