HOW DO YOU CONDUCT A DRIVE CYCLE FOR A 2009 SMART FOR TWO

Thank you for your response. The reason I am asking this question is because my car did not pass emissions. I only drive the car in the warmer months and store during it in the winter. Unfortunately, I had to replace the battery which resulted in data being deleted. I only drive the car around town and do not drive the car on the highway so they said to research how to conduct a drive cycle instead of driving the car. Would you know anything about that procedure? Thanks again for your time.

It's very important that your gas gauge be between one quarter and three quarters full when you drive to get the readiness monitors to reset. Some systems such as the EGR, EVAP, and the catalytic converter monitors will not set if the gas gauge is not within that range. Hope that helps! Jim
