Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a large amount of pink fluid coming from the front part of car and it appears to be unerneath the radiator.  There is a check coolant message on the dash.  What is wrong?  How can it be repaired.

Hi Fred! That would appear to be two separate issues. Pink fluid indicates transmission fluid. You have a tranny leak somewhere (but not as far forward as the radiator. Your warning light indicates there's either a fluid level problem with your cooling system or a thermostats problem. Check the fluid levels in both your tranny and your radiator first and then seek professional help for the tranny leak. If you aren't leaking too much too fast you may be able to slide for a while is you can't get the problem fixed. Same with the radiator. Both leaks should be fixed, but the urgency of that repair relates to the rate of the leak. Good luck!
