2000 Honda Civic

Asked by Hector2014 Aug 02, 2016 at 12:06 AM about the 2000 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently bought a 2000 Honda Civic and I started
noticing that the Temperature needle goes up if I
leave the car on but once I start driving the needles
goes back down to the middle.  It does not seem to
be overheating but wonder why it continues doing
that.

It's normal to see temperature raise when standing still cause there's no air coming in to cool it down til fans kick in. When u start driving u get the air coming in to the front of radiator and cools it down rightaway
