Is volkswagen heavier than mini cooper?

Ummm....yup. But it's also more comfortable...and probably safer.

VW is heavier. Almost as safe as Mini. The Mini will get much better fuel economy, even in diesel variants. We got rid our our last one, a Tiguan for a Countryman. You forgot the biggest difference. Mini's are SO MUCH MORE FUN to drive!
