VW City Jetta - 2009... Brake Light On only when starting...turns off when driving

VW City Jetta - 2009   
replaced both rear brake pads and driver side rear brake line.  Topped up brake fluid.  Bled brake line.   When starting car, brake light comes on but goes of when driving..  does not come on at all even when stopped at lights.   Only time it comes on is immediately when starting the car until you start driving.   anyone know reason?   thank you

Check to make sure your emergency brake lever or pedal is completely off if it is even clicked on on notch the brake may flicker on and off.

I have the same issue coming from my 2012 passat vw I'm try to find a solution electrical issues smh

The Brake warning light is supposed to go off when the hand brake is released. You said it goes off when you start driving. Could you really mean when you release the hand break?
