Buying a used 2001 Honda Prelude - need some information from those of you who are prelude owners. Thanks in advance!

Asked by Keke324 Jun 28, 2015 at 11:43 PM about the 2001 Honda Prelude

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I currently have: (bought last year)
Used 1994 Honda Civic coup
Selling $1500-2000
- 2 door
- white
- automatic
- no A/C
- manual windows
- sound system installed already
- speakers are great
- bought it almost 1 year ago
- bought at 239000 km
- it's now at 247000 km
- done 2 oil.changes
- $40 gas lasts 2 weeks or more
- no power lock system or alarm
- no wiper on the rear window
- muffler installed

I have an opportunity to purchase:
Used 2001 Honda Prelude $4000-4500
- Blue
- automatic
- 183000 km
- 1 previous owner who bought it straight
out of the show case at the dealer ship
- auto windows
- heated leather seats
- A/C
- sounds system installed already
- speakers are great
- $40 gas will last 2 weeks
- tinted windows
- alarm and power locks system

Question is which is better?
They're both Honda so that is a plus
but I think the prelude is a great deal and
investment for a car that is in great
condition.

Opinions?

Anything I need to know about preludes?

Does 183000 km seem high for a 2001 prelude? A friend of mine says it is but I've done some research online and most cars in the prelude make and model 2001 are much higher in km than the one I'm looking into.
