How do I get the need OIL light to go off after I've had an oil change?

I had the oil changed in my 2009 Lincoln Towncar and the Need Oil light is
back on.

The oil change tech should re-set it for you but your owners manual may tell you how to as well. Is the light for an oil change or for low oil level? Check your oil level!

Like F.o.R. mentioned, the oil tech should have reset that after changing the oil, you need a scan tool to reset it. Just go back and have them do it , it only takes a minute to do...

Lost my manual to my 2002 Lincoln Continental. Battery light came on yesterday. Checked the terminals. They both seemed clean and free of any corrosion. Any other tips to get the light off?
