Cranking

Asked by GuruN1Y2B Nov 03, 2019 at 10:01 AM about the 2009 Chevrolet Impala

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2009 impala sometimes will not
immediately start, as if it about to crank and
everything shuts off. Then sometimes just
shut off while driving out it in park and it
cranks just fine. I can’t figure out what’s wrong

Check you wire harness and battery cables, you may be losing electrical power intermittently. The battery itself may have a bad terminal.
