my ford focus some times cuts out when i come to a stop and my speedo stops working all the time for a few minutes

Remove a battery terminal for 10mins and then make sure both terminals are tight and not corroded check grounds on chasis and engine. To "uncorrode" a battery terminal pour boiling water over. Hope this is of some help.
