Why are the throttle body injectors continuously spraying fuel?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We've replaced several sensors, fuses and
gaskets as well as the distributor, but the throttle
body fuel injectors are still constantly spraying
fuel causing it to flood out. Does anyone know
why?

Intake leaks ? They're going to spit fuel at a determined rate from the computer , Did you replace the injectors ? Maybe they're stuck open . I wish I had the money some of you spend on parts that you don't need .

Injector spray is controlled by the ECU ground pulse. You might have a ground short that's causing a constant current/signal. Or, as the Vehicle Speed Sensor sends a signal to the ECU that affects pulse duration, maybe the VSS is defective. Time to turn to diagnostics instead of the check book.

Maybe you should spend money on a mechanic instead.
