How do I find out if my 1994 gmc sierra is an SLT?

Asked by GMC_lover May 27, 2014 at 11:35 PM about the 1994 GMC Sierra 1500

Question type: General

I bought this truck from a guy that
pulled off ALL the trim. It's a 5.7 v8 4
spd auto. It doesn't have any of the
trim anymore. Not even the badges.
Please help

The most common option is that actually an SLT trim comes with leather seats and on older models and SLT has bucket seats and xonsole on the middle and fog lights i think thats the only difference from SLE trim because back on the days TEXAS EDITION did not exist

Leather. That's the key differene. You can always Google the VIN. That will tell you for sure.

Leather and buckets would be correct- leather bench would not have been available in the SLT from the factory (that doesn't mean it couldn't have been added aftermarket).

We'll my problem is that someone replaced the seats with the two seats with a console. Would you be able to just put the seats in with a console without any modification from factory bench?

I believe that all the holes are pre drilled from the factory for buckets as well as the bench seats.
