My 98 expedition only has rear heat, front is blowing cold. Heat in rear is hot. What's wrong?

Search for your actuator blend door to see if it is moving when you switch the temp from cold to hot a few times. It's normally located behind the glove box. If it doesn't move replace it.

Trina, do verify that the actuator is functioning and if it's not the problem could also be the temp blend door itself. Your model truck is known to break the blend door at the hinge inside the air box. The door is sold separately but the dash does have to come out if that's it. hope its just the motor or control head.
