96 sierra starting issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

96 GMC Sierra k2500 5.7l vortec. I was
driving down the road and my truck started
sputtering and died. After that I can get it to
crank but won't start. I took my alternator
and battery to get tested. Both came back
failed so I replaced both. Went through and
made sure everything was super tight. I can
hear my fuel pump click on. What else
should I check?

There are a lot of reasons for this to do this, I would replace fuel filter, and then check fuel pump pressure to the throttle body, should be a min. of 60 lbs.
