Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good day. I have a ck4 4g92 sohc. I have an MR ecu. The car tumbling but not
turning over. I put in an MD ecu for the engine and it started but you need to
keep your foot on the gas. I then put in an MD ecu for the trasmission. It turned
over but when you rev it shuts down? I put the original MR in but im not getting
spark through the #1 coil i believe. Is my MR damaged? Can i use the MD
eventhough its not the same?

I have always been told if you change your ECU you also need to change your coil packs as well. JMO
