Is my transmission bad?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 05 GMC envoy,I can crank it and it will sit there and
idol kinda rough but wene I put into  gear reverse or drive it
shuts off.it will not drive at all.has anyone had this
problem before or maybe no about it?

Get the motor purring first , look for loose/broken vacuum lines , what do the plugs look like ? Are the wires any good ? Try an injector cleaner .

On the I6 engine, clean your throttle body first. With fuses # 10 and #28 removed from under the hood.
