2000 Ford Ranger 2.3L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I get my Ranger up to 20-30 miles an hour, sometimes it starts to lose power
and starts decelerating. If I don't try to accelerate immediately, I can keep it going,
but it starts lurching a bit. If I stop, turn everything off, and restart, it works fine. I had
it into the local Ford house, and they put a new thermostat into it and replaced my
ECT sensor. That hasn't done any good. I don't have a Check Engine light, but my
engine temperature gauge doesn't work at all anymore. Any ideas?
