Question type: Maintenance & Repair

just wanted to know what kind of problems do the vans have?

I just bought this van and was told the trnsmission is having a hard time shifting gears after it has run for some time. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem short of replacing transmission?

tranny issues in this van are/were very common. it could be the controler, but if it is doing this after it warms up, it is mechanical. Sorry about the bad news, you are looking at a overhaul/replacement of your tranny
