What would cause a bunch of accessories to go off when I try to hook up the battery?ie: horn,wiper,lights all come on when switches are off)

Make sure the battery is connected properly. Red wire goes to the positive post of the battery. If only the lights and horn I would suspect the anti-theft system, but the wipers should not be affected. Try removing the fuses from affected accessories, hook up the battery, the let the car sit for a few minutes. Reinsert the fuses one by one. Possible PCM problem.
