Battery and Alternator test fine. Battery keeps dying

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. No issues with the vehicle and this issue has seemed to come out of no where. The only issue that Im thinking may be the reason is that the back hatch sometimes will now latch on the passenger side. After we park we close the hatch so that the it is latched. Obviously when the latch is not closed all the way a light will be on but when everything is closed the battery should not die???? I am at a loss, looking for any suggestions.

I have taken out the #11 fuse which is for the dash cluster and automatic lights, and the problem has seemed to stop. I am trying to figure out where to find the problem from here?

My 2004 Ford Explorer, has a dead battery after sitting in the garage for a few days. I took it to Advance to have it checked. Battery is good and the alternator is good, he said battery needed charged. I don't drive very much,so the car sits for 6 or 7 days before I go someplace..there is a light that flashes in the dash,a red light, near the wind shield I think that light is draining my battery. I don't even know what that light is for?
