Why does my tail lights ad signals stop working when head light switch ison

I have a 1988 Chevy S10.  My brake and tail lights won't work when I cut on my headlights. When in the off position, they do. Checked fuses, replaced one bad  bulb, bought and replaced headlight switch... still nothing

check the turn signal switch.............
